My research explores the politics of black masculinities whilst (de)constructing postcolonial ‘other’ identities. I am in the process of editing my monograph for publication in 2023.

Diversity and Inclusion Research: gender, race, ethnicity and disability – inclusivity in higher education, media, politics, intersectionality, postcolonialism and anti-discriminatory policies.

Children and Young People: socio-economic disadvantage and vulnerabilities (child sexual exploitation, gang affiliation, domestic violence) supportive opportunities, racialised academic attainment and community cohesion.
